the Royal Library
The Royal Library gathers stories and poems from The Tiny Kingdom, inspired by love, memory, everyday adventures, grief, laughter and wonder, with Prince Dingus, Princess Guusje and Prince Donder at its heart.
- Prince Donder: Prince Donder was the Kingdom’s flower child, often wandering along in a daydream until something irresistible appeared and he shot off like a rocket. He loved a good cuddle, although never for very long, and was every inch a royal when it came to being served. Now he watches from another realm, where the stars are always near.
- Prince Dingus: Prince Dingus has always followed his own path. His stories and poems reveal an independent and sensitive Cairn, deeply devoted to his family and blessed with very definite ideas about life.
- Princess Guusje: Princess Guusje meets the world with boundless curiosity and remarkable determination. Her stories follow a young Westie who throws herself into life wholeheartedly, even when she first needs a little courage to do so.
- the Queen: The Queen’s shelf brings together her stories, poems and musings on life in and beyond the Kingdom. Here she writes about what amuses her, moves her, puzzles her and occasionally refuses to leave her alone.
- the Kingdom: Stories and poems from across the wider Tiny Kingdom, where friendship, encounters in nature and the wonder of ordinary days all have a place.
